Don't interest me personally. To big to be practical in the UK, would be damn expensive to repair. However, I do understand car desire, my own hankering being for a Triumph TR6.

I used to be in a band with a chap who restored classic cars for a living and he gave me a lift in his Pontiac ( 60s, I can't recall the exact year)a couple of times. He said they were cheap to look after,  if you had the know how,  because the technology is so primitive by modern standards he could fix almost anything with a basic tool kit. 
Enormous car, completely cramped in the back seats though.

I bet the fuel economy is shit though.

I always really liked the early 70s Corvette Stingray. Apparently not such good cars, but fine looking.

The Corvette around 1968 was good. 7.4litre V8, 4 speed manual, 0-60 under 6 secs.

'56s are quite nice but a tad ungainly-looking compared to the long, low, sleek mid-60s models.

Also Sea Foam Green is a nicer colour.
