Timmy EQ

What's Hot

I know how the Timmy controls are "backwards" I was wondering though where the "neutral" sweet spot was.....as I understand things it's a transparent OD/boost and what goes in tae the pedal comes out the same tone....so tae speak

so is there a ballpark set of settings for Les Paul HBs into the Timmy or is it different for each rig?

The Timmy EQs can only cut, so wouldn't both on full be "neutral"?

Do you actually have the pedal? best bet is to twiddle the knobs and use you ears till it sounds good? There is a recent "that pedal show" on youtube where they feature the Timmy quite a lot (but with a Tele and then a Strat)...worth a watch as they describe the controls and the toggle switch settings quite well. image ...they mention for lower gain leave the tone controls on full, but as the gain increases cut the EQs a bit

Start fully CCW and blend in... Alternatively, fully CW !

  • Fully counter clockwise is neither adding nor subtracting bass or treble (in theory), so that is the most neutral setting
