    Line 6 Spider - for home they're brilliant !

    I paid less than £20 s/h and whilst it's not going to set the world on fire for home use it ticks all of the boxes I need


    EDIT - just read the original post properly - sorry no modelling is the criteria. My bad

    After my digital modelling blunder my actual recommendation is a Park G25R

    Two channels, reverb, plenty cheap enough.

    These - and the first Marshall MG series, which are the same amps rebadged really - are very good, much better than the MG-DFX series which followed.

    +1 for this shout. Many years ago I recorded a whole EP using a little Park 10 watter and managed to get some wonderful Marshall crunch tones out it of using the old trick of mic'ing up in the bathroom.

    Fender Deluxe 85. Nice Clean. The Distortion Channel is a matter of taste but useable. Has Reverb.
