First gig with it tonight. Wow! Perfect break up with my 335 and a super hard on as a boost. Even our drummer commented it's the best he's heard me. Amp on 5. Tomorrow I'm not taking the extension cab to see how different it is.

1974x... Lovely amp i have one myself, doesnt really need pedals just some reverb/delay. Best suited for humbuckers but works quite well with single coils. How does it sound with the cabinet ?

I've only had 2 gigs this week so far but I'm very happy with it! I have a wedding gig tomorrow which I may try without the extension cab, but I already know this is a perfect amp for me.

The fairly shallow cabinet makes it easier to carrier around too IME

Yeah it's taller than most 1x12 combos but a lot shallower. I can stack both cabs in my seat boot.

Probably the only negative of that classic cabinet is no corner protectors but that would wreck the look.
