amplifire questions (editing/ using with an acoustic)

I've got a few gigs this summer that I could really use a tiny board for and thought about an amplifire with hotone wah/volume on a little board  (would they fit on a PT nano?)  

How quick are they to tweak without the computer?     I don't want a laptop at a festival

Could I set up two banks of patches so that any IR's used stay with the patches  eg   electric (clean/crunch/lead) with an electric cab model and acoustic (clean and boost/delay) using an acoustic IR model?

What are the eq effects like if I needed to tame any feedback with an acoustic?

I can't answer all your questions as I've not used IRs, but I do have an Amplifire for sale for £385 ppg delivered. It's a great unit in excellent condition with all the bits. I am considering an offer for it though on a well known auction site, so be quick if you're interested
