    Status Quo. Love me some Quo.

    Live at the NEC. Me and Prince Charles are fans, apparently.

    I declare it's national Hawkwind day or something.  Been walking around all day in a Hawkwind tee from god knows where and weirdly, last night in rehearsal while we were waiting for the drummer to show, got into the beginnings of a Hawkwind style groove with the bass and myself.  Didn't go anyway but was nice to play some stuff that I liked.

    However.... spotified some of the newer Hawkwind stuff and it's a bit sub par.
    My absolute favourite which has emerged through time as my favourite album of theirs is "Quark, Strangeness, and Charm" -- I'd never have said that back in the day but it's a really solid album.

    I'm very fond of 'Choose your Masques' and 'The Chronicles of the Black Sword'.  Mostly because of the Michael Moorcock themes but I think they are the last with a truly classic line up.

    I did see the live tour at the Hammersmith Odeon too....

    Fuck yeah! Hawkwind kick bum.
    Quark is a superb album, so far from anything else they did but equally engaging...."he had a long moustache to pull on, it was yellow..."  brilliant...

    you inspired me tonight @Clarky ;

    Looking at lovely shaped girls asses, especially when they have leggings on. I don't gawp, I keep it subtle. You just can't beat the sight of a lovely ass!

    Indeed.

    Mine's more of a TV one but True Blood in it's day. Although in my defence...

    I go down the pub drink as much as I can to get off my head whilst talking talking to new. every night people and get home to listen to music in my underpants.  Bless they are brilliant.  No need for class A's or a wrangling conscience here.  I should play guitar more though.  It's the nearest thing to a lonely rockstar or sportsman I could imagine
