Hi fellow strummers & pickers.......Just fitted the Ultimate Blues Capsule to the Artist model, picked the TC up off EBay at a good price.....transforms a good amp into a great amp.....tons of increased headroom on the clean channel, suits pedals, with sweeter top end and increased mid range punch. Crunch channel also improved with enhanced definition on crunch/overdrive tone and dynamics on picking strength from clean to overdrive are as good as a valve combo......compares well with the MK3 Boogie I used to have when I could still pick amps up.....
I tried the Eric Johnson TC and didn't  like the OD sound at all....very muddy.....
There's a Robben  Ford  model just out as well......not heard or tried it....
but for all round improvement the UB TC is the one I reckon....any other users out there?

Yes I've got one. I haven't taken it out since I got it. I wouldn't say it's better than the standard tine though, just different.
