Aren't or haven't they already reissued the CE-1 ?

It was mentioned in one of the Pedal Show videos that CE-1s needed to be modded to correct input impedance to get a decent sound when using one with guitar. I presume it's in the one entitled "so do we like chorus or do we think it's eighties shite?" or some such. FWIW, the CE-1 convinced them that chorus was definitely note eighties shite. Great sound.

I assume not, given that Dan talks about having to actually mod the pedal. Just involves swapping the 5K input pot for a 500K pot.

These things sound beautiful - John Fru was a big user of one, alongside his trusty DOD FX65. 

Who cares if it needs a bit of work to get it right? Just keep the original part. You can always revert
