rip songs off of a music dvd on a mac?

I just bought an album, it has one live music CD and a companion live DVD. I was a tad annoyed to see that the DVD contains 3 extra tracks, one of which is arguably the best track. As I usually burn albums onto CD to keep in my car, I would prefer to add the missing tracks. Anyone know how that could be done?

I've searched around but not found any free solutions.

Audacity? Record it direct as a WAV while it's playing.

Do they not show as MP3 if you delve into the files on the dvd?

Streamclip is a very useful utility to have, esp if you work with DVD video files.
