Any Suhr Corso Users?

Thinking about picking up a Suhr Corso, if I can find a 2nd hand one at a decent price..any users out there with their opinions...Good or Bad?

Had one for a year now.

Really versatile. Many sounds from just one channel. Can get VERY loud.

Cracking amp. Mine went in the "things I don't use every day" clear out, but it's one of about three things I wish I hadn't sold. Very versatile, quite beautiful, and sounds great.

I've been close to buying one a few times, normally when it pops up as recommended watch on Pete Thorns YouTube channel.

That's alright then..I wouldn't let the general public hear me play guitar..home use only.

I don't need it gig able, but I'd get away with that in the living room.

But you're gonna try a 5w Blackstar so if that works.

I haven't, but there's no reason why you couldn't. On its own it'll struggle to compete with a vigorous drumist, but mic'd and monitored - it would be fine.

I think the Corso is a studio amp, takes pedals, designed for recording and practice.

It's a good point actually - means you don't need any high powered heads.

I have had one for a few years now and it's excellent. It was specifically designed as a pedal platform, and offers great clean tones. The gain channel isn't super distorted, but you can get mad with an OD or boost...sounds brilliant with the Koko in front of it.

in terms of gigging it has a DI so can go straight to a mixing desk. Also has an integrated load box so can be used for silent recording.

often overlooked, but well worth trying.
