Just bought a Ltd eclipse. I love it !

I bought a 2nd hand ltd esp eclipse . I'd been toying with getting one for a while , I saw this one 2nd hand and it didn't have emg's so I thought it was worth a shot . 

I absolutely love it . I wanted a backup gigging guitar for my lp custom and this definitely ha that kind of vibe to it . I'm well impressed with it .

i wonder what the Japanese eclipses are like ?!!

The Japanese Eclipses are great value for money used. The higher end LTDs come from the same factory as the higher end non-US Schecters, PRS SEs, and Chapman guitars IIRC

If I ever see a white one without emg's 2nd hand I'll be buying it I reckon !

Just sell the EMGs and fit what you want. If you can't do the soldering yourself you should more than cover the cost of hiring a tech by selling the EMGs.

I was mulling one over myself not long ago, had the chance of a decent deal but it had jumbo frets which was the only, but decisive drawback. Really nice guitars though, looks a nice one

i had the seymour loaded ec1000 a few years back, it was much better than the PRS mira i had at the same time. I have played the japanese CTM2 and it was incredible, i think that ESP make the best production guitars out there currently.

I'm amazed how good these are , I'll definitely be keeping my eye open for one !

I had an ESP Eclipse and it was very good. I've heard the LTD models are practically the same in terms of finish and quality, so should be a cracking guitar you have there.

i had an EC1000 and it was a fantastic guitar, superb quality and playability. I've said it before but i think ESP/LTD are the best mid/low cost guitars out there by a mile, and i think the Eclipse shape is a brilliant design, they look ace on stage.

I've used quite a few pickups in the black, Floyd Rose equipped one...Currently a Deusenberg p90 in the bridge.

The brown burst one has the Seymour Duncan Whole Lotta Humbucker set!

2nd hand ESP Eclipse one of best bargains out there, can pick them up for 700-800 used which is awesome for quality you get .
