Ive posted there for years and a couple of my very best mates I met on there. It's a mine of information of ridiculous levels, a lot provided by the legend muff nut Kit Rae.
http://zychal.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=126004#126004it's a great place, I know Phil Taylor, Guy and Pete Cornish read it too.
Most people there make me seem normal.
However, after reading a 600 word post about the nuances of the EQ units by Kit Rae I felt compelled to post this:
Kit,
I've heard he's had various fingernails on his picking hand manacured in different shapes to assist with tone and harmonics.
This is what Denise and Chardonney at the Brighton and Hove Nail Bar told me:
P- rounded and thick, for blusey tones
I- sharp and pointed- used for pinched harmonics
M- serrated, but it's only used on the Sorrow intro?
A- Nail removed under epidural so he can get the mellow tones on the acoustic outro to High Hopes.
Does this concur with your findings?
Could you do some nail clips for us?
He hasn't responded yet.
