Ships Down - Melodic Hardcore Punk - 2nd guitarist wanted - London.

Hello all. 

We are Ships Down, an established Hardcore Punk rock band. We play technical and fast punk rock to the unsuspecting masses. 

Unfortunately we are losing one of our guitarists at the end of October so we need a replacement. We are looking for someone who can jump in with the material learned as soon as our current guitarist leaves. 

Our influences are A Wilhem Scream, Strike Anywhere, No Trigger and Propagandhi.

Ideally we are looking for someone who knows how to write material in the style of our influences, someone who knows how to control their dynamics (Loud AND Quiet!), a team player and NO egos. Backing vocals are a plus, but not essential. 

We do play a few covers to pad out the longer sets.

We will be recording a debut album or long EP at the beginning of 2017. We have gigs lined up and we have a following. We currently practice on Tuesdays or Thursdays at our own practice place with storage in Manor House. Costs are £20 per month per band member.
