another PLI insurance question I know but after paying what seems to be extortionate when compared to these guys. Has any body used them before;-

Not used them, but I switched from Allianz to New Moon; and I can highly recommend them! Not only do they do instrument insurance, but they cover PLI stuff as well.

I paid £220 for my PLI to cover the whole band. A friend of mine said he used AmpBand and paid under £80 for 10 million of cover for his band. There's got to be a catch

I'm with new moon. I have PLI with my gear insurance but we needed a separate band PLI policy, that came to £63 and it's in the bands name so no issues if we have deps.

That's just £1m cover but we can up it for individual gigs if it's stipulated by the venue/agent.

I can have up to 20 musicians in my band which is way excessive but that was their lowest amount of people to cover. I'm thinking I've been done

We use AmpBand. Never had to claim but it all seems legit. Let me know if you sign up - I'll give you my ID and I think we both get a bonus.

Already signed up with them for a year last month. Oh well probably best to be over covered rather than undercovered etc

Looks like they specialise in threatre groups rather than gigging bands (hence the numbers)

Typical brokers. I specifically told them it's only for a band of 5 members. I guess they're all salesmen at the end of a day chasing thei
