Panini Football Stickers

What's Hot
I didn't realise that people are still trying to buy them so as to complete sticker books from around 35 years ago. And that some people will lash out what I would call daft money for some of them. One example being described on what I can only describe as a specialist website....."Rare David Armstrong sticker from 1981Southampton squad but wearing Middlesbrough shirt". Apparently this sticker was released before the Panini colourists could paint a Southampton shirt on Mr Armstrong.

Price......£140!!!

Some people are rabid completists, but I didn't know it would come down to sticker albums. More money than sense, and friends no doubt.

I thought I was bad when I used to get really excited about getting twenty packs of stickers for my Premier League albums for Christmas back in the mid 90s.

I got looking at card and sticker collections on eBay the other day and some of those Pokémon cards sell for crazy money too, especially Japanese ones.

I remember having the complete collection of Batman movie cards, wish I had of kept them now cos they might be worth something.

    Doesn't surprise me.

Conversely I have lots of albums full of 1930's cigarette card sets that are worth very little.

I had a Charizard pokemon card that I swapped for £1.50 and some wrestling stickers in primary school.
    They're worth £50 now.

For those of us of a slightly older vintage (in body, not in mind), lose yourself for a couple of hours here.
