"Velcro a go go?"

Wondering about changing my pedal board (not the pedals), as I am getting annoyed with velcro as a solution to pedal fixing.  (It's tough I know!) I am often changing the board for acoustic and electric needs.  Can anyone suggest a replacement and if you can recommend it?  Seen clamping systems, but??
Currently I have a pedaltrain 2 (24" long I think)

I used to use Those little figure of 8 things, but in the end found 'real' Velcro to be the best all round solution.

bet he's got a couple pedals he uses for both.

I also use very long cable ties, black or white

Exactly, he doesn't need a new fixing method. He needs more pedals.

WHat is it about velcro that you don't like? A more modern version of it and one that doesn't wear out like velcro does eventually is 3M Dual Lock. See details here http://solutions.3m.co.uk/wps/portal/3M/en_GB/tapes-adhesives/-/tapes/dual-lock/

Thanks - yes, use my Timeline and ep booster for both electric and acoustic.
Have 10 pedals Inc. tuner - overdrive overkill but like it!!

I have an old plank - I drill holes and use cable ties to strap the pedals down.
