    It's a lovely looking guitar - I really like the black hardware with the body and the maple neck sets it off beautifully.

    I'm just not a fan of hard-tail Strats - and maybe other people feel the same way, which is possibly why it hasn't sold. 

    However £460 for an American Strat is an absolue steal!

    That is a beautiful looking guitar and a bargain at this price. I think the American Specials/highway 1s are undervalued just because they aren't called 'Standard'. I guess the whole lower resale value is just a self fulfilling prophecy. GLWTS
