Fly fishing is my mid life crisis. Its low risk, you can drink while you do it, and there's no one talking to you so its quiet.

Take up free running and start doing it at random places round your nearest village/town centre.  If you can't somersault, backflip, climb, leap huge distances or walk on your hands, just start off with some gentle rollie pollies on a verge.
