26 years for me.

Looking a bit like it might not last but I'm gonna hang on to the bitter end as I love the job, I love the people I work with and the pay is great.

33 years in  the same job , all with the same firm too. Only difference is that i now co-own the business after my old boss retired nearly five years ago.

Last week I attended the retirement do of a guy who had started there in 1969(!) He could have left years ago but loved (was obsessed with) the place. It was quite sad really, he was struggling to cope with not working.

Just over 40 years with the same company.I got a long service award last month. But what I do has changed a lot over the years.

I'm not sure what happened. I didn't plan on staying for long. I was convinced I was going to make a living as a musician. Anyway, I'm taking early retirement next January, so maybe I can claim to be a full time musician then.

Only ever worked for one organisation (NHS) - started just over 39 years ago. Planning on carrying on for about another 2 years until my daughter finishes Uni.
