Big Spida !!

So, I'm sat on the floor, cross-legged, as is my want.  Next thing, this monster comes running across the floor at me...  the biggest spider I've ever seen... it must have been 6-7cm across.  I'm now sat on the sofa with my legs up.

Depends on the surface. They will crawl up a sofa no problem. But they will have problems with slippery surfaces like ceramic tiles or a bath.

Last year, around this time of year, me, wife and kids were watching The Thing remake on Sky Movies with lights out and surround sound up loud, we got to the part where the head springs legs and starts running about and I swear, no word of a lie, a huge house spider ran out from under my legs towards the TV and cast a huge shadow across the living room floor. Fucking thing scared the living shit out of me I actually screamed like a girl!

Hoovered the bastard up with anger after we cornered it with torch and stick under the TV unit, what a co-incidence!

I always try and trap them with a glass and release outside if I can - but it if comes down to him or me, the spider is gonna die.
