Knobs! Can anyone help? Small amount of cash waiting..

Hi all,

Just refurbing a Lab Series I rescued from a skip, however it's missing a knob - however I can't find any to fit anywhere!  The 'D' shaft seems to be 5/16" - roughly 8mm ish and all knobs I can find are 6mm or thereabouts.

Doesn't have to match - does anyone have anything in parts drawer?

    Are you sure that's not the internal clip from the old knob still on the shaft? As far as I remember Lab Series amps use standard US pots.

    Thanks @ICBM, pulled off (ooh err) the bit that was still on the shaft (oh dear) and it seems a standard size now.  Hurrah!
