Notification Option - Receive when quoted?

I don't see this as an option, is it possible that it could/would be added? Another forum I use has this feature, and it's really useful for continuing on conversations or replying when people quote you.

Receive a notification when anyone quotes your post(s).

    It'd be nice, but it's unlikely to happen until it's done in the upstream version of the code - it'd involve massive changes in the back end, since posts are stored in HTML and not in a way that machines can parse them to figure out what's going on.
