Got this lovely Japanese strat up for trade. This is the ST54 model based on a '54. Made in fuji gen in 1989- Its got vintage frets and radius, a hard v neck shape, all original including alnico pickups and electronics. All electrics work great with no crackle and the neck is nice and straight.

its been well used and gigged extensively  as you'll see in pics. All the wear is real, it's not reliced. There is some serious buckle rash on the back which at least shows its got a thin finish. 

Neck is well worn in and feels really comfy, it's a hard v shape, which I've not had before, but it feels amazing and tapers out as you go up. Perfect for thumb over stuff and still has plenty of heft. There is lots of wear on the fretboard where it's worn down through finish, can't feel it so not sure if that would make it nitro or if poly can wear like that. If anyone can advise please do.

Also rust on the bridge saddles, magnets, screws etc. The trem arm I have doesn't fit so don't know if it's the wrong arm or if the thread has stripped- it's set up floating so I still use it up and down (think pretty little ditty not van halen) and it holds tune brilliantly. There is also fret wear which I've tried to show in pics. But again it plays and sounds great despite this.
It's just a really nice 27 year old vintage style strat that's been well used! Just for trade value I reckon it's around the £400 mark.






So anyway I'm looking for a tele- a not stupidly heavy baja, or Japanese double bound sunburst or CAR. Not limited to that though so let me know.  Im in love with the v profile though so prob baja is of most interest. Might trade down for a cv tele with cash too. Would like to meet up and try so not willing to post, want to make sure we both happy with what we're getting. I'm in SE London and can travel a bit to meet in the middle if necessary.
