There was a small flurry of interest when these cheapy pedals were released a while back . Now that some time has passed, what is the verdict on them? Did they all fall apart? Noisy? Unreliable? Or solid and gigable?

I've got a boss dd7 but want something with presets. I keep gassing for a dd500 , but I can't see myself needing all the bells and whistles it provides (as well as being a bit pricey).

I bought one and sent it straight back, tried it with a few good power supplies and there was a lot of digital noise, may have been a bad one though.  The FX sounds great

I'd get a dd20 if you just need presets

Yeah, dd20 does seem like it might work. It's a bit big on the pedal board once you add the tap tempo switch though.  I'll ponder on that, it is the most obvious choice in a way.
