my son's watched it like a religious experience. I asked why the main character didn't appear to be in it any more but they weren't quite sure. I watched about 20 minutes of a season 2 episode and it was people sat around a table talking, like sitting through a dull team meeting at work. I can't answer the question but as a tv series it does seem to demand a lot of the viewer.

1st season was class, I binged it in a weekend, just haven't got to grips with the second series, it's tailed off badly and I've found myself picking up my iPad while it's on, so I've stopped-half way through last week or the week befores episode.

I didn't mind all the dreamy stuff or character development but the storyline just hasn't moved on at all. Shame as the first was excellent.

Ive nearly done season 1 of Halt and Catch Fire, bit daft in parts but well worth a watch.

Yeah, got up to Ep. 2 of season 2 and wor lass fell asleep both attempts at watching it... She also did this every time we tried to watch The Wire. We had both been riveted on Season 1 of Mr. Robot.

I felt that season two so far has been a bit of a let down for me. I have a few episodes to catch up on.  But season one was a lot stronger for me.

I liked it - more inside his head, hence can be hard to follow a times, but worth it.

I loved season 1. On episode 3 of season 2 now and am struggling with it.

I enjoyed season 1, but haven't bothered staring season 2.  I don't think I will based on the comments here and my gut feeling towards it after seeing a few clips on the advert.

It's actually not bad at all, plenty of curve balls and plot twists. Quite enjoyed it.

Loved season 1, season 2 went even more Fight Club esc so I loved it even more. I'm kinda glad it expanded from a, albeit pretty authentic, hackers takes on the world at face value. We are embedded into Elliot's mind and I'm looking forward to where it goes with season 3.

I could not tell if Tyrell was alive or in Elliott's head. If the series goes down the path of Elliott's rampant imagination or visions or whatever the fuck is up with him they can do whatever they like with it, just like LOST
