Sound wise I think the amp is excellent, it's got a certain "flatiness" to the sound that reminds me of my old 1964 vox ac30 clean sounds, but mixed in with a bit of fender DNA. The reverb is an acquired taste, I find it a really clever circuit which makes really good use of two triodes and is very lush sounding, but it definitely trails differently than a fender, and it's more even on the dial (fender reverbs get unusable after 4.5 in my opinion). The tremolo is easily one of the best I've ever heard, even when compared to many of the vintage fenders I've had, or the 65 amps lil elvis, I sold last year, which also had a really good tremolo.
The celestion blue takes it to another level, of loudness and dynamic responsiveness. The amp sounds smaller and boxier when heard from the front. But really opens up with the back facing you, which is a real plus and also has the advantage of making the controls more accessible.
In terms of construction, I find it's as good as most of the boutique amps out there, with very very decent components. A solid pine cab.
