a euphemism for going to the toilet can be called a loophemism. I'm not sure I have a favourite one but I like the word loophemism.

"Going for a sh*t" is a euphemism already. The correct term is defecating.

We used to say "logging off" at one work, which was a two for the price of one as it were (although everyone took their phone to the bogs).

I can only think of the euphemism of a 10 year old schoolboy Stanley which was 'dropping a brown bomb/bombing battleships'.

Not a euphemism but it always makes me chuckle now.

My old man would roll a cigarette - green Rizla & Old Holborn, pick up the Daily Mirror and wander out of the room with the words "I'm going for a cough and a spit".
