Hi guys
I've only just bought this off of @miserneil of this very parish but need to establish some emergency funds due to the impending death of my car. Sad times. Would really rather keep this as I've wanted one for around 10 years but needs must.

All original Gibson Les Paul junior from 1959 in cherry.
Plenty of wear, checking, dings, dongs, you name it... would all count as mojo and love in my book.
Structurally sound with no breaks anywhere at all.
All original hardware including electronics, bridge, studs, tuners etc
I suspect it's had a fret change at some point but they play well
Lightweight at 6lb 11oz
Lovely '59 shape neck, not too full or wide

Comes with a Selmer case from the 60's, would not be happy shipping it in that though.

Collection only from Bristol or surrounding area for petrol money. Reasonably happy to drive a fair way so try me.

WITHDRAWN FROM SALE - SORRY

Genuinely sorry to see you're selling this Andy.....and genuinely sorry I don't have the cash to buy it back!

A superb example of a DC Junior this one with no issues or funny business. Killer!

    Oh my!
so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

you can't imagine my rage at this, I've looked for this for 2 years, order a JXG build and then a Gibson re-issue and this one come along, I'd have taken this without taking a heartbeat, more so as you're local.

  • Could always sell the JXG when it's finished? £4000 for an original junior is the best price you're going to find :)

  • Nooooo don't do this until I have some funds!  Forget the car and just take up running or cycling in the meantime!  I lusted over this enough last time it was listed and now it's back to tease me again

Having just stumped up the money for a 56 Champ and 62 Princeton over the past month cash is a bit in the low side right now unfortunately!

I'm putting some feelers out to see if I can sell on some bigger items I have, unless if you'd be interested in a Morgan RCA35 head and cab finished in smoke Chilewich with a creamback 1x12 plus cash?
