Can't think of a persons name, what do you do?

I had a fairly distant relative who'd had a very acrimonious divorce from her husband, Emrys. It was a very sore point and nobody dared bring it up in front of her, for fear of invoking her wrath. My grandmother liked to keep in contact with her, despite poor old Emrys being my grandfather's cousin. When they were both quite elderly, my father volunteered to take my grandmother (his mother in law) to see her for an afternoon. Throughout the car journey my father was warned repeatedly not to bring up the divorce, and not even to mention Emrys's name (my dad used to see him around about once a week at that point).

So, after a couple of hours of sitting there watching two old ladies drinking tea and reminiscing, my dad had kept quiet and not said anything about he who should not be named. All good.

Then my grandmother stood up, turned to him and said "right, Emrys, you can drive me home now"
