I think one of the most condescending things you see on certain forums- and never this one so far as I've seen- is someone posting a genuine technical query and getting the terse and unfunny reply to RTFM. 


However naive you think someone is, to parrot to them to 'read the f-ing manual' isn't worth the keyboard time.

I nearly came to blows with my old bass player for being an utter arsehole at a rehearsal about something, then using "just saying" as a coda... when challenged as to what he meant, he seemed to think that using that phrase entitled the sayer to say whatever they liked without causing offence. Idiot.

I don't think there is an equivalent. I thought it was more of a case of that person just going "Yeah, I'm honest me. I say anything I want, don't muck about, yeeeah I call a spade a spade etc".

"Just sayin'" seems to be a much more condensed version of that. Complete with a cringeworthy shrug of the shoulders like a right cunt.

It's strange, because hardly any verbiage or ill use of grammar gets on my tits, but this....oh boy.
