We heard some last weekend. They are a bit of a shit thing, once you have seen one fireworks display you've seen them all. Apart from annoying pets and their owners what's the point.

Miserable bastards the lot of you! I live near a few Asian banqueting halls which set off fireworks all through the year, I like them when I see them, generally they don't affect me-as in I don't notice the noise anymore. The dogs not bothered either.

I love a good fireworks display too, bought a massive one from Chinatown a couple years ago "end of the world barrage" it was called, great fun.

Bonfire Night is the one British tradition I could happily do without; outdated and irrelevant celebration of burning some fella alive. 

It wouldn't be so bad if fireworks weren't available for weeks on end for arseholes to buy and fling around, either side of the actual date.

I used to be able to see the fireworks over Glastonbury Abbey when they had their concerts, when you see proper professional shit like that so often the shit you can buy in shops is pathetic.
