Belated classic npd x 3

So thanks to @HarrySeven I'm the owner of three awesome boss pedals.

No photo yet as I'm at work, waiting for a bunch of files to process. But they are:

Boss dd-2
Boss ds-2
Boss ft-2.

The dd-2 is exactly what you know it to be - clear repeats that blend amazingly well with the main signal. I know the edge is known for his ehx boxes, but honestly, I've pretty well nailed some edge style tones with this off the bat. I'd be surprised if he never used one. It's basic, but sounds amazing. I use it alongside a juansolo arnie delay which is the bees knees for warbly twisted sounding delay tones. Lovely. The dd-2 sounds amazing in front of overdrive, too - I put it in front of my df-2 set to an open dirty-clean tone and it sounds fantastic when the delay is in front. Most sound too clear or far too mushy.

The ds-2 is an old favourite of mine. It makes no difference but this is an old Japan one. I've been looking for a fuzz box for the ac15 for a while - they hate muffs and anything that sounds too powerful because it's basically ALL mids with a heap of high treble on top. Loads of fuzzies fart out or turn to broken glass - but the ds-2 in turbo mode is just an extremely smooth all mids pedal that does an awesome, sustainy lead sound. It also complements my rhythm overdrive tone courtesy of the df-2.

Lastly, the ft-2. Box of fun - does all the classic porno sounds and is a great envelope filter. Not tried on bass yet... It works great with the expression pedal too. I like the reverse mode, which makes noises like your guitar is underwater (think opening theme of Bojack Horseman).

Boss got a lot of stuff right.
