Running the Boss CE-2w in mono 100% wet - trick it into thinking it's stereo?

What's Hot
Pre-ordered one of these, and October 31st can't come soon enough!

I have a way of running it parallel with my dry signal, which is exactly what the pedal will do in stereo. Running it stereo will cause issues for me.

But for various reasons, which I won't bore you with, I'd like to use this in mono and would like the mono channel to be completely wet (chorus only) with no dry (direct) signal in the mix.

I believe this can be achieved by running in stereo. The manual says when the second output jack is used, only the chorus goes through the mono output and dry goes through the second output (the manual says that when it's run in mono, both the chorus AND direct signal are mixed). Do you guys reckon, if I plug a jack cable into the second output to trick the pedal into thinking it's running stereo, would this give me full chorus on the mono channel? Is there such a thing as a dummy jack plug I can use for this?
