WTB: 60's Custom Shop or Genine 1965 Fender Telecaster

I know it's a long shot but after trying 3 great vintage Telecasters this weekend, all 1965 models, I'm now looking for one.

**edit** I'm changing tack on this now and am looking for a Custom Shop 60's Tele or a genuine 60's model. All original/player grade/refins all considered. 

Ideally it'd be trans blonde or double bound sunburst with a rosewood board.

With a name like yours, how much are you thinking of spending?

I spoke to Rich after the show and he said you went to see his '65.

What did you think? It's clear you didn't come away with it. Was it the refin?

I did think it was a great guitar by the way. It did everything I wanted from a Tele. But the colour is not to everyone's taste.

Rob, you were right, an exceptional playing and sounding guitar, everything I wanted in a Telecaster. The refin wasn't ideal (but could be remedied) but I just feel it's overpriced for a routed and refinished guitar. Shame we couldn't have done a deal, I thought it was glorious.

By the way, good to see a few PM's flying around this afternoon ;-)

DJP does have some nice stuff - didn't try any Teles tho. Be prepared for a *long* visit (make sure you ask him to look at lots of his stock) and don't be shy on offers - his prices aren't fixed
