-small frets (or at least low frets)

And cheap. The cheaper the better. In fact, the more messed up and battered the better. Don't come here with your pristine stuff looking for >£800. If the electronics don't work, if there's hardware missing or broken, that's good. If there's a wood repair to be done, that's too much.

    Now the proud owner of an '83 Tokai Silver Star, thanks to the good people at the Little Guitar Shop.

    Somebody buy @relic245 's one off him. Mine is one of the best strats I've ever played.
