Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease

Has anyone had it before? I hadn't heard of it until my lovely daughter brought it home from nursery. 

I have had it for the last 5 days and it sucks! Very painful!

I've not had it but we were at a party a couple of weeks ago and a girl there said she was just getting over it. She was a probationary teacher and said it was rife in schools and that it was horrible so I feel for you.

My Daughter had it a couple of years ago. I hadn't heard of it either.

A friend's 2 yo daughter has had it recently. Nasty stuff, it stopped them going away on holiday. I'd never heard of it before either.

No but I had a bad case of head, shoulders, knees and toes.

My brother and his 2 daughters have it, they live in South London.

My eldest daughter has had it three times. Youngest once. It's pretty horrid. 

It's supposed to be a lot more difficult for adults to catch, but kids are like little Petri dishes full of agar gel. Germs just love them.
