If you look closely at the control panels, those are DSLs.

This isn't Maiden, obviously - I would expect DI'd JMP-1s if it was.

There's always something about that pic that I find jarring.  Mostly the lighting..but then why would anyone fake it?

  No faking necessary. A combination of dull natural light (either very cloudy or getting towards evening) and backstage incandescent lighting will produce precisely that effect.
