Went to see them on their first UK tour in support of the The Whippoorwill record, I wasn't overly impressed. I actually thought there was something a bit fake about them image-wise.....like they'd all been accountants who'd just grown their hair and bought into that Southern rock image (yet they sound more country)...where'd they been all these years when this kind of music was more popular? They aren't young for sure. They've had a lot of media coverage since 2012 too which ain't cheap or easy to come by yet their US record sales are meager.....50k for the first record and less for the next two?Go listen to Chris Stapleton....and see why his debut shifted over a 1,000,000 copies.
