In praise of the Fender Pro Junior

I love my Pro Junior but mines rather hissy also. Its certainly picky about valves and seems to be less hissy with a EHX 12AX7 in v1. I've twisted the cables inside myself but keep meaning to put it in for a service and get it looked at as I also get a bit of volume bleed through from the guitar when the volume is on 0 (not sure if that's normal?). 

That all said, it's still been taking out for reahearsals and small gigs over my HRD just for it's portability.

I used one for a bit... very nice sounding amp once you bias down the valves - some of them run really hot ... mine was such a beast .. also put a celestion in .. made it happier in terms of headroom and matched gentle valves from Watford..  And I use customised blues juniors now and they sound really good... but it can be a journey :-)
