The 'extra hour in bed' is just an establishment lie.

I know what this is about - it's the state making you get up an hour earlier - nothing more, nothing less.

When I'm in power, I'll put a stop to it....

All my clocks in the house receive a radio time signal, so set themselves when the clocks change. I didn't even realise the clocks had gone back until this thread.

Scotland *wants* to stop messing about with them - we want GMT all year round. If anything, if Scotland becomes independent you're more likely to get GMT+1 in the winter and GMT+2 in the summer, or some such idiocy.
