We have panasonic one - great for perfect 20 min jackets (3 off)- crispy skin and fluffy insides.

Yes, they are great. We have a Panasonic unit which is a grill, oven and a microwave with timer and cooking programming so you can mix a microwave/grill.

We bought a combi about 8 years ago, it was cheap. I don't think we've ever used The extra grilly thing. To be honest I'd forgotten about it until I saw this thread!

We use ours on both settings, and combo setting for roasts, all the time.

We bought a combi oven/microwave many years ago. It has been used as an oven exactly zero times.

I only found out the other day that my 15 year old microwave is actually also an oven
