Auditioning different tunings on already recorded / mixed song

I have no idea whether this is possible but thought I would ask. I'm sure everyone has experienced this where you come up with a song and get all the parts sorted and in a good place and then you get a great mix going and then you think 'I wonder what this would sound like a half step down etc'.

Is there a way of doing this, or at least getting an idea of how a song would sound stepped down at half step intervals without having to re-record?

With melodyne you can do this. But it comes with a price.

Add a pitch shifter to the master track (output channel). It will just drop everything down a semitone...you can go further but any more than tone tends to sound robotic.
