Laney Supergroup 100 boost suggestions

I've recently started using one of these and it's a glorious huge tone but I'd like a little more push into the front end for some light compression/breakup. I still want a relatively clean tone so I'm not looking for an overdrive but wondering if perhaps a compressor might be the ticket. Any suggestions?

He did, but he also cranked the amps. A range master into a clean supergroup would be awful.

I know nothing about these amps. 
But im guessing a dirty boost?
Rc booster or Ep?

I've heard talk of these so-called "clean" amps but never used one
