Can you import a ppt directly into Prezi and get it to all fit into various slides routes?

If so, how?

I used to use it a lot.   But I can't help because I never got the ppt. import feature to work cleanly.

I always thought they would be onto a winner if they could get the ppt importing and exporting to work better.  If they don't do it, I am sure ppt will steal the prezi functionality instead... eventually,  I have been saying that for at least 7 years.

It gets a bit tiresome after a while if its overused, just like ppt animations, but its massively refreshing if you take it to an organisation that has only ever seen ppt

  • prezi is only marginally more useful than trying to convey information via interpretive dance.

All I can remember of the Prezi presentations I've seen is the motion sickness.

  • by the way no one should take my comment as an endorsement of ppt either!

It's no worse than those early, overly animated ppt disasters in that respect.

Prezi needs a bit of self control just like powerpoint

Indeed - I know it's unfair to blame Prezi for it.

  • Love Prezi, but I've only made fresh.
If I want to import a slide or two as is from a PPT (I normally want to improve them), then I just screenshot and add them as pictures.

    No.

More than once have had to kill (sorry, deal with) an errant colleague who decides to do their contribution to a powerpoint presentation in Prezi - they can't be easily merged or one embedded in the other.
    Red ones are better.
