My dad does. I do not. I haven't listened to it since the late 1970s when I moved out of my parents house.

Remember, it's easier to criticise than create!

  • I do. It's The only soap I follow. Not every episode but I know when it's on so try to plan journeys around listening.

I have to confess I listen every morning on my way to work.

Some people in it anony me a lot but other times it can be very witty.

My surname's Archer. Oh what mirth it causes when I get the theme song sung at me.  s

I havent actually listened to the program since the days of Walter Gabriel, Dan & Doris etc

I was trying to find a radio station to listen to in the car on a long journey earlier this year. I came across the Archers, and managed to listen to about 40 seconds before my brain pressed the panic button and ejected out of the escape hatch at the back of my head.

It really was the most dull crapola ever, some bloke in a tractor looking for sheep in a field. I cannot compehend how it was considered viable entertainment.

If I'm driving back from work around then, then yes, cos the radio is usually tuned to r4.

Sorry. I'm confused. Was this a plotline, or did this 'Nigel' person actually break your aerial...?
Not much of the gear, even less idea.

I'm thinking it's really a bit rubbish at the moment. The trail was brilliant, but this whole fairbrother/pip/roy on tinder rubbish is very dull.

  • I did, several years ago, but soaps tend to bore me so I quickly lost interest.

One hopes it 'improves' a bit after the ex-Eastenders scriptwriter Sean O'Connor has gone back to Eastenders. What a load of drawn out misery was Helen & Rob Titchener's storyline.........what a snoozefest.

Yep.  It's kind of scary to realise that I started listening about a year before Ruth arrived as a student.

I hear it quite often because my radio is always on and tuned to Radio 4, so I kind of know what's going on, but don't care if I miss it.
