Looking for a tweed deluxe type amp. Would consider something a bit bigger, perhaps a tweed super or even a brown princeton clone. Cheers

I was in this shop the other day and they had Fender 57RI one in stock (used). I didn't try it but it looked in good condition. I think it was £1100

Do you have a circuit preference? 5E3? 5C3? 5A3?

To be honest I don't. I've never even played a tweed amp :-D.. I have a couple of old silverface Fenders which I love but want something a bit different. I've tried Marshall style amps but much prefer Fenders. Just after something that could potentially be gigged with (mic'd up probably) and could be turned up at home for some thicker cleans than the Blackface style amps give. Don't really need it to be clean at gigs as I was thinking of running it with my DR and have that for cleans

try one of those swarts on FB, there's a 20 w and 5 watter. Brilliant, very tweedy

I'm selling an atomic space tone swart. 15-20w, 2x6v6 cathode biased, with reverb and tremolo. And a nice celestion alnico blue. I can be tweedy sounding, but a bit more headroom.

Thanks guys but after watching a few vids and doing some more research I think I would prefer a straight clone. Cheers anyway ;-)

One of the best straight clones you can get for a 5E3 in my opinion is a magic amps 5E3.

Don't know much about them but there's a newish Cornell Romany 10 on fleabay BIN £690 in case that floats your boat ?

Don't get the Cornell. His Romanys are his weakest amps IMO.

Seeing as a thieving cunt has all my money. you could make an offer in excess of 3500 for my 1958 5e3 Deluxe.....you'll never lose a penny on it....

Actually have to say, the Fender reissues are beltingly good but also Chris @riftamps will build you a stunner for great money. And he'll relic it.

The Rift amps are serious, although I had an entirely wonderful although somewhat unpredictable 5e3 from Eli Abbott, subsequently sold to @themarlin...if you want a tweed deluxe clone, the U.K. has the builders.
