Friedman, Two Rock and Kemper

Had an interesting evening profiling some amps. specifically a Friedman JJ, as well as a Two Rock Akoya and Studio 35. The profiles don't sound or feel exactly the same but they are great sounds. Anyways just thought I'd share:

Are the profiles on rig exchange??? I need to update my firmware too lol.

I'm afraid the Kemper isn't mine so I can't answer that. It was hardly the most scientific profiling session, more of a taster session. The Akoya gain sound has to be one of the best blues lead tones I've ever had. So thick with my Les Paul.

Thanks Waz. For me the JJ is the perfect amp for what I do, such unreal gain and low end grunt. However, call me a Two Rock fan now too, that little Studio Pro 35 1x12 is sooo loud!

 Speaker wise we flipped between creambacks and V30s. I'd be happy as Larry with either but the creambacks again suit me best just now.


 The Kemper is definitely going to be my home amp solution, like I say it didn't match the amp tones or feel exactly but it still made outrageously good tones.

Hhmmm..... 2xZilla Fatboy cabs, 1 with 75 watt creambacks, 1 with V30s. My B7 Les Paul, a blue baja tele and a 90s Japanese 60s Reissue Tele. Dave who owns the Two Rocks didn't get his TR cab out but I'd have liked to A/B against Zilla and also how the Kemper reacted to each. I personally liked the Kemper regardless of patch with V30s.
