  • Never been a problem for me.

What has always been a problem is that they're always about 1.5cm too small, causing me to throw things around the room.

Absolutely bloody agree, in fact last night i was thinking about taking the wah off and putting it on the floor freeing up two spaces, but i want it after my Klone so the wiring would be a bitch

Could you not fit a small patch box at the edge/ underneath the board that would make the wiring a bit easier? I plan to make one that will allow me to keep my wireless unit permanently mounted under my board but with an additional socket that I can just plug a cable into if I cant be arsed with the wireless (or if it fails). Using a switching jack will "overide" the wireless if anything is plugged into it.

This even applies for us MFC-101 users too, 4x footswitches and 4X expression pedals make even my Pedaltrain a little snug

Because you buy them with your current pedals in mind, thinking it's the ultimate set up and your dream board, then you see something in the classifieds for a fiver below normal selling price and then panic buy it.

Mine is about the width of a lava jack too small, and I can't use a TC Ditto and have to use a Hotone.

It's not the pedal board which is too small...
    It's the aluminium flight case.
If one pedal or lead is even a smidgeon over the size of the case into which it has to fit then it ain't happening.  It just ain't happening.
And I'm left staring at the board, muttering..."Bastard!"

Haha I bought a large pedalboard years ago thinking I'd fill it up and I'm down to 3-4 pedals at the minute.

  • I've got plenty of room left on my board.

What the hell have I become?

@BintyTwanger77 - a potential vendor if it's a Pedaltrain Metro 24 and you'd like to downsize to a Pedaltrain Mini so that it all fits nicely.......

Mine had plenty of space when I bought it, but now it's fractionally too small.  I can fit everything on but I have to unplug a patch lead at one end when I want to put it in it's case.

The main culprits are a POG 2 and a Big Sky that have been added.

Is it just me or does a wah feel totally wrong when fitted to a board?

  • On an angled board like Pedaltrain,  yep.
