Blood sugar testing kits

My better half would like one of these kits tae test herself for blood sugar spikes or whatever ( a diet thing I am told, not for diabetes) is there a kit and some strips you can recommend ?

Got two redundant ones after the GPs gave 'er indoors their recommended one due to chemo and other things.

One a Johnson & Johnson (Inverness Medical) one and a generic one. We got the strips via eBay as it was way cheaper than the usual suspects.

If you want one you are welcome to it as new hardly used. Gratis not trying to sell em lol. I think there are some strips to going on with as we get from the GP now.
