Heeeeeelp!!!!!

My PC is stuck in a loop trying to do a Windows update. It's been saying "Failure configuring Windows updates Reverting changes" for hours. I've done a restart and it just goes back to the same state again. Windows 7. Anyone got any ideas? Help me theFB, you're my only hope

Managed to fix it eventually. Found a printout from Novatech from when I first bought the PC and followed instructions to do a system restore to a couple of days ago.

Now deleting all updates from the last week.

Anyone selling a Mac?

Windows biggest problem is the registry and to some extent backwards compatibilty. It means the upgrade routines have to do massive of checks, whereas a unix style OS (BSD in MacOS and Linux) can just do a full clean install and leave applications and data in tact
